Running and Tri podcast round up
By booyaa | May 3, 2007
I am still stunned by the quality of the running/tri podcast I’ve managed to discover. Here’s a list of my favourite episodes so far. The links where possible are ready to play in iTunes.
- 2007/04/27 - Metal Cowboy
- 2007/04/23 - Dick and Rick Hoyt - a touching story of a father and son tri team
- this made me want to buy the book by Joe Kumaskie.
- 2007/04/27 - Ryan Hall: Post-London Marathon Interview - I’m impressed by these guys abilities to get stars of the track and field on their show
- #57 - Training the mind to do the right thing in Triathlons - I really enjoy the feature of a new Tri shop in Winscousin and alternative therapy called Ortho-Bionomy.
The guys who didn’t make the grade were:
- JBST.com’s Training for Triathlon, Duathlon, Ironman and Cycling - I just felt it was a bit dry, but bookmarking (adding chapters) the podcast was a good idea, it could let you skip the boring bits. More podcasts should split their shows like this.
- Zen and the art of triathlon - seemed to aggrevate me, perhaps it was the idea of trying to do a show whilst in full physical exertion i.e. you got lotsa heaving breathing. Maybe it was the trash talking between his rivals. All I know this podcast did not do it for me.
Please bear with the format, I may cook something more automated using iTunes and Delicious. Watch this space!
