Web links for August 16th
By booyaa | August 17, 2007
These are my links for August 16th:
- swissmiss: next time who have an argument with your colleague… - For Steve and Charlie
- Video Review: SideWinder BlackBerry Charger | BlackBerry Cool - Heh! Charge your mobile device using a hand crank!
- How to size Domino and Sametime systems for full production loads on VMware ESX Server - Crikey IBM what’s up with the whole keep current? I didn’t expect to see this article for another 5 years!
- Death By Email: Email-Free Fridays - Sounds like a good idea, no emails on Friday. Except you’ll just get floods on Thursday, the weekend and Monday. Stopping emails for one day doesn’t fix the inherent problem of overload.
- Death By Email: Will Generation Y Have Love Letters to Remind Them? - Just goes to show, that going digital isn’t always a good thing.
- Death By Email: Email is “Not Perfect for Emergencies? - I think this is why radios (walkie talkies) and pagers are still the primary choice for city wide alerts. I wonder if we’ll ever see someone say Email is “Not Perfect for Business Transactions”?
- Kurt Cobain 18-Inch Talking Action Figure » The Uber-Review - This is wrong on soooo many levels
- ISPs tell BBC to pay for iPlayer bandwidth (via OUT-LAW.COM) - Tiscali, BT and Carphone Warehouse? Probably the loosest definition of an ISP. No surprise to see BT here trying to charge us to breath again.
- There are great ideas to extend the AppleTV like Slingbox and PVR support! -
