    Bloglines beta

    By booyaa | August 27, 2007

I hope this is the first stab at the UI and not the ready for production release. Because if it is the latter, then I’m afraid this effort scores a D minus.

So in all the time that Google Reader has been out in the wild, all the Bloglines beta team have decided to do, is to save you a click (on the Edit link) if you wanted to manage your feeds and make the start page the Playlists page?

Google Reader have their trends page, and the expanded and list views. Heck they even added an offline mode.

Maybe I’ll discover that this version of bloglines can actually keep track of which feeds you’ve read?

Update @ 12:46PM : Okay so I missed the new river of news options, like show todays, this weeks and top five posts. Oh and the new 3 pane ala Outlook err look. But I also missed the fact that the UI moves like treacle, kinda reminds me of when Yahoo went all Ajax’d.
