    Tomato update

    By booyaa | September 9, 2007

This’ll prolly be the last update, until we see a down turn in our tomatoes. At the moment we’re getting about 4-5 cherry sized tomatoes every few days. On the whole we’re very pleased, they’re incredibly tasty. We’re looking forwards to the day when we can grow a bigger variety, because home grown tomatoes really do taste better than the ones you can buy in the shops!

One thing I’ve discovered is how thirsty the buggers are! They need watering at least twice a day, and combined with my inability to remember to water them, this makes for a deadly combination. There’s been a few times already when I’ve come back home and returned to wilted plants. Naturally I end up drowning the buggers, this is bad thing because the skins end up splitting.
