I won’t be applying for Flora London Marathon 2008
By booyaa | October 21, 2007
Not that I’d make it through the ballot let alone good for age.
The reason I’m not applying is that I’m not keen on having to start four months of serious training in December again. I’m also still worried about my ITB blowing up again.
I’m planning for either an early Summer or Autumn marathon.
After me and Lou get back from the Honeymoon I’m going to join a running club so I can try a bit of XC action this Winter! Looks like fun and not remotely related to the crap I had to do in secondary school (in rugby top and football shoes). I’m hoping this will make up for the lack of real training regime this Winter.

If you fancy a bit of XC action have you considered the Grim 8, on Dec 1st? Good muddy fun by all accounts.
BTW it explains why there were only 42 runners at RPTT if someone was sending round a vicious rumour about it being postponed again.
Hope the injury improves quickly.
