I won’t be applying for Flora London Marathon 2008

    Sunday, October 21st, 2007

Not that I’d make it through the ballot let alone good for age.
The reason I’m not applying is that I’m not keen on having to start four months of serious training in December again. I’m also still worried about my ITB blowing up again.
I’m planning for either an early Summer or Autumn marathon.
    After […]

Veggies vs Carnies Rematch: Final Update

    Sunday, October 21st, 2007

    WE WON!

I was 5th Veggie (honourary), 11th overall with 154 miles.

Vegetize me! A month and a bit without meat.
Being on a vegetarian diet for over a month has been eye opening. Before the change in diet I pretty much lived off sandwiches, the occasionally bit of sushi and sometimes even a pork katsu. The sandwich […]

Kingston 16 October 2007 race report

    Saturday, October 20th, 2007

First off sorry for the late post, its been over a week since ran it. I think I’ve noticed a pattern that if I run crap in a race I’m crap at filing a race report.
    First things first, I ran the race 2:41:18 @ 9:38 min/mile pace. I was 551 out of 617.
    I didn’t […]

    Race talk

    Sunday, August 19th, 2007

I’ve begun planning for the next few races. I’m still looking for a 10K, but I definitely want to attend the Kingston Running Festival 16M (October) and apply for the 2008 Flora London Marathon.
Now all I need to do is beat this weird cold/throat infection I got and I can commence with the training!
