Advert placement within iqwolf’s “unnamed one” theme
Saturday, October 7th, 2006These tips apply to version 0.5.2 beta of the wordpress theme. Whilst I exclusively use Google’s AdSense, these should work for most vertical and horzontal banners, as well as link ads.
I’ve tried to maximise my revenue potential whilst not breeching my advert provider’s T&Cs. To do this I’ve decided to use the following strategies:

Well that was a bit too close for comfort! There I was happily fiddling away adding a WordPress Widget here, moving another there, when all of a sudden my Widgets vanish! Drag and drop stops working.
I reckon the the Widget plugin has died so I disable it. Of course it never occurred to me to disable the Widgets dependent on the plugin first. Whoops! Suddenly WordPress stops working. The Flickr Widget is screaming that it can’t find the Widget plugin. Meanwhile I’m completely locked out of WordPress and the blog is totally snafu’d
New look
Sunday, August 13th, 2006I just switched from my long time favourite Kubrick theme to Unnamed One by iqwolf. It’s a throughly first class effort Mr/Mrs/Ms iqwolf - thank you. I’ve also made the plunge and installed the Widgets plugin to simplify my sidebar management.
My google ads have appeared to vanish…not entirely sure what happened.
